Roads!
Dear Parents
This week we continued with our Roads Unit. We discussed roads characteristics such as road signs, formation, and others. Children were very excited to share their thoughts on what they could observe. We discussed the different materials in which roads can be made of. They even experimented in class with materials that simulated rocks and asphalt.
During our morning discussions we also reviewed different parts of roads such as speed bumps, traffic lights and signs. We introduced concepts as Bridges, Railroads and Tunnels. They discussed what they thought of each of them. They also learned that roads have different names.
Next week we will continue our discussion about roads, learning how they help people in their daily lives.
