A Day In My Digital Life
1. My Electric Stove
My stove is something I can't live without because it is the main source of my meals being cooked. Without it, my food would be even more difficult to cook.
2. My Phone
My phone would have to be second because although I use it for little more than a clock, it is the main way in which I make sure I'm on time and that I get up early enough. And I haven't quite broken the habit of checking my phone every few minutes.
3. Aol
Aol is my email home page. Through my email I'm able to contact my teachers and colleges to get important information.
4. Spotify
Spotify is a music player. You can make your own playlists with whatever music you prefer. I love music, and being able to listen to the kind of music I like with just a click of a button is very easy and helpful.
5. Instagram
Oh how I love taking pictures! Instagram is a way to keep in touch with others and see what they are up to by looking at and posting pictures. I love getting on Instagram because I'm able to see what my friends are up to and how big baby Hayden is getting.
6. Box.net
Box.net is very important to me because I'm in choir at church. Our choir director sends our parts of the songs to each of the choir members via Box. It's a very helpful app because it allows me to learn my parts for the songs we will practice next time we meet.
7. Bible Quizzing
I am a Bible quizzer at my church, and the quiz coach makes questions, flash cards, songs, booklets, and CDs for us quizzers. We have buzzers that she hooks up to her laptop so she'll know who gets to answer. She makes Bible quizzing a fun way to memorize verses and compete.
8. Media Log In Sheet
For the past 24 hours this Media Log In Sheet has been a big part of my life. In normal circumstances it wouldn't be at all, but since I had to keep adding to the log, it kept becoming a more prominent part of my digital life.
9. English Assignment Research
I have been working seemingly nonstop for my English assignment. I have to teach someone how to line dance, but since I never, ever dance, I also have to learn. I've been watching videos and looking up the steps to the dance Boot Scoot.
10. Facebook
I check my Facebook everyday, either by logging on, getting notifications sent to my phone, or sending something through my phone. Facebook is not one of my more important digital medias because I don't get on Facebook quite as often as I used to.
