Progress Challenges
The WHY of Progress Challenges is to get students to improve on a behavior (based on student data and referrals) with the support of their teammates.
- Students will be retaught expectations, tasked to meet a certain criteria for behavior and will compete with their grade levels to do the best in this behavior.
- Teams will earn points that will collectively earn them attendance to a all school incentive in December.
- Along the way, students will earn prizes and the pride to hold title of the Team of the Week (which includes a trophy).
Our goal is to continue to reinforce expectations for behavior and hold students to high expectations for this behavior based on what we are seeing at the school and the needs of students.
November 1st starts the first day for this challenge. The challenge is ATTENDANCE. Teams earn points toward their goal for the incentive if the team's collective attendance is 95% for two weeks.
Please encourage your student to be at school, as each day counts and the best way to support learning and growth is for students to be at school. Thank you!

November 8th- No School
November 8th is a staff professional development day where students do not attend school. This is a non-school day for all students. This means that there will be no work that is required to be completed at home on this day. We encourage students to make-up missing work, study for an upcoming test, work on a project, get organized, and/or practice their academic skills through various resources, but there will not be any required work and therefore there will be no graded work from this day.
