NEW Robotics Team at Hillcrest

We have received a grant to begin a FIRST Lego League team at Hillcrest for 4th and 5th graders. We are looking for a volunteer to run the program on Mondays from 4:00-6:00PM through the beginning of December. If you are interested, please let us know. We would love to be able to offer this opportunity this year!

PTO Sock Hop

Take the family out for a night of fun at the Hillcrest PTO Annual Sock Hop. Come enjoy music, dancing, bounce house, games and concessions. Children will NOT be allowed admittance without adult supervision as this is a family event.

Admittance to Family fun night is FREE! Games, concessions and bounce house will cost tickets. Tickets can be pre-ordered along with your Meal Deal. Pre-ordered Meal Deals and Ticket coupons will be sent home with your youngest student. The PTO does not offer a refund for pre-ordered items. Additional game tickets available during the event.

Game and Concession Tickets will be sold 2 for $1.00.

The MEAL DEAL is only available PRIOR to the dance. Be sure to reserve your meal by September 29th

The Hillcrest Read-a-thon is a monthly incentive program to encourage students to read outside of the regular school day. This year the theme is... Pop Open a Good Book! The Read-a-thon this year will begin October 1st and run through March 31st. We will be participating in the Pizza Hut’s program called “Book It.” Each month, students can earn a free personal pan pizza just for reading!In addition, students can earn a free ticket to Great America by reading the required hours in the two months of December and January. New this year, to go along with the “popcorn theme,” each month, the class with the highest participation during the month, will receive a popcorn party in their classroom! Waukesha South HS Booster Club will be hosting its annual Southfest on Friday, September 29th,from 4pm-7pm, in conjunction with the school's Homecoming Game vs CMH. This year's theme is SOUTHFiESTa and will feature traditional and themed food, carnival games, inflatables, local entertainment, an Activity fair, an Alumni Welcome tent and more. The event will run before the Varsity game on the field adjacent to the Football Stadium, on Tenny Ave between Sunset and Roberta. Admission is FREE, Food & Activity Wristbands will be available for purchase. The South community, alumni, students & families of the visiting team and the public are welcome! In the event of rain, SOUTHFiESTa will be held in the Fieldhouse. Fans can also enjoy fireworks after the football game! Questions or interested in event sponsorship/involvement? If your child purchases hot lunch, please discuss their lunch choices with them. Some students are struggling to decide what they would like to eat each day. HERE is the link where you can find each week's lunch menu. We want to make sure all students are getting the healthy lunch they need for the day!
