4th Grade Newsletter

April 21st- May 2nd

English Language Arts

This week, students will be working in their businesses to prepare for Horizon City. They will be working with their "colleagues" to complete a business plan, fill out purchase orders and tracking sheets, work on advertisements, loan applications, and will be making decorations for their pod. Please ask your child what their job is, what business they are working in, and what they are loving about Horizon City this year! :)

Next week, we will be doing some assessment review and then students will take the ELA assessment on Wednesday and Thursday.

The next two weeks will be spent doing Geometry! We will learn about lines, types of angles, measuring angles, adding and subtracting angles, polygons, triangles, and symmetry.
