Aug. 15 - First Day of School - Holy Day mass @ 8:30 (all families are invited to attend)

Aug. 15 and 16 - Sack Lunch Only (all students must bring sack lunches)

Aug. 22 - PIE Night (parents only)

2nd School Paint Day - Sunday, July 14 @ 12:30

We will be painting the downstairs hallway and both stairwells on this day. If you were here last time, you know that it takes a lot of helping hands! We will need people to: tape, prepare, and paint!

Paint day will begin immediately following the 11:00 mass and will continue until we finish. We want our school to be looking top notch when our students return in August, so please make plans to help us on July 14!

What can you bring: Painters tape, paint brushes, rollers, drop cloths, screwdrivers

Pizza will be provided.

Parent University - Last Call

Before school starts, I'd love to have a chance to gather parents together to discuss topics that are important to YOU! However, I don't want to hold something and have only a handful of parents present, because I don't feel it gives a true representation of our school community. As of now, we don't have enough parents interested to hold the event. In an effort to be inclusive, I wanted to send out one last reminder.

What is a Parent University?

Parents choose between three thirty minute sessions to attend.

A "recorder" is provided by the staff.

Parents are allowed to discuss ideas and concerns on the session topic amongst themselves.

Recorder makes note of all discussion points.

At the end of 30 minutes, parents switch to new session and repeat process.

Day concludes with a full group closing led by Principal and Pastor.

All ideas are then taken into consideration and shared with the school community.

Please fill out the form below to let me know if this is an event worth planning. I do feel it would be valuable to give parents an opportunity to share ideas!

Class T-Shirt, Uniform Sweatshirt, and Special Dress Down T-Shirt

Class T-Shirt: This year, we are asking every student to purchase a class t-shirt that will be worn on field trips, field day, and other designated days throughout the school year. The entire diocese is using the same t-shirt design in their own personal school colors. If you would like to purchase a class t-shirt, you are are welcome to do so! The t-shirt is $8.00 for students and $15.00 for adults. (If you need help with the costs of your child's t-shirt, please let us know!)

When ordering, you will need to order your child's shirt in the following color (chosen by the teacher):

K: green

1: green

2: yellow

3: gray

4: green

Uniform Outwear: Every year we battle "hoodies" in our school. Last year, we offered many different St. Patrick hoodie options and still had students who consistently wore hoodies that were not uniform. This year, we have decided to eliminate the hoodie battle all together.

Outwear Options are as follows:

- Any Dennis uniform outwear choice

- Navy Blue/Hunter Green sweater, v-neck sweater, or cardigan

- Navy Blue/Hunter Green crew neck sweatshirts with St. Patrick embroidered (from past orders)

- New Navy Blue/Hunter Green Crew Neck sweatshirt offered on our online store.

8th graders will still create their special 8th grade hoodie that they are allowed to wear.

Special Dress Down Shirt: This year we are offering a new religious t-shirt (long or short sleeve) that students will have the opportunity to wear on certain special dress down days. This is an optional purchase.

School Supply Help

If you are in need of assistance with school supplies, please let us know. We have received many generous donations in which we can assist students in need and we don't want them to go to waste.

Please send a quick email to and we will have your child's backpack filled with school supplies waiting in his/her classroom at Back to School Night on August 13th.

August 15 and 16 Lunch

Mrs. Orr will be out of town the first week of school. On August 15 and 16, you will need to send a sack lunch with your child. We will still have milk and water available!
