Smith Future Scholars Program - Honestly, BIG BUCKS
Generously supported by W.W. Smith Charitable Trust, the new Smith Future Scholars (SFS) Program offers awards of $8,000-10,000 per year to support high achieving Temple University undergraduates from the five-county Philadelphia area and from the City of Camden, N.J.
The goal of the Smith Future Scholars program is to identify and support talented Temple undergraduates who have faced financial challenges and other obstacles. Besides the funding, the program offers one-on-one fellowship advising, application/personal statement guidance, and support to apply for other meaningful scholarship, fellowship, or research opportunities.
Want to learn more? Register for the Smith Future Scholars information session during Fellowship Week (February 17-21). The session will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 12-1:00 in 201 Tuttleman.
Students are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements on the Supplemental Academic Scholarship (SAS) website. This program is mainly for first and second year undergraduates from Philadelphia or surrounding counties who have financial need. The Smith Future Scholars Application can be found here. The deadline is March 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m..

The Mobile CPR Project generously provides free trainings for the Temple Community because they have found that Philadelphians are less likely to help someone experiencing cardiac distress. The more people we can train in this life-saving intervention, the better! This is not a certification class.
