May and June 2015

A letter from your PTO President

Enon Families,

Well, this is the time of the year that all families with school age children look forward to: those final days of school. We’ve all worked hard to help our children get to the point of promotion to the next grade level and as the last weeks roll by we take time to reflect. I am no different. As I type this letter my feelings are bittersweet. Not only are my days on the Enon PTO Board coming to an end, but it is now time to bid Enon a fond farewell as my youngest son will be going off to middle school.

As May winds down and the children are beyond excited about the end of year parties, there are still PTO events going on. Don’t forget to come out and support us on that last restaurant night, or to drop off in the Clothing to Cash bins that last bag of too small clothes, or to send in that baggie of Box Top labels and the baggie of Labels for Education. Every penny we raise goes back into Enon and directly affects us all.

As President of the Enon PTO, I can safely say on behalf of our entire team: Thank You for your support of our school and all the functions we sponsor to help make Enon a better place each and every day that students grace her halls. A special thanks to the Administration, Staff and Faculty for your dedication to our children as you help us instill those life skills that go along with reading, writing and arithmetic that is require to function within today’s society.

Families, just as a final reminder you are appreciated for everything you do to contribute to keeping Enon Elementary the best kept secret in Chesterfield County! Have a safe and enjoyable summer.

Most fondly,

Kim Britt PTO President
