Evana Santee: Certified Athletic Administrator

Evana Santee (pictured above), Athletic Director at Central High School is now a Certified Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. She had to meet a number of requirements to be eligible to take the exam, such as specific course credits, years in her position, and other recognized achievements. She can now start teaching courses at the Athletic Director conferences each year.

She notes being excited to have this certification because it makes her more knowledgeable about her position as Athletic Director, meaning she can do better and be better for her student athletes.

Congratulations, Coach Santee!

Small School Basketball Tournament

Bostrom recently hosted a basketball tournament between themselves, Linda Abril, Franklin, and Desiderata. The teams showed great sportsmanship and played some incredible basketball! Linda Abril won the tournament, but the competition does not end there. They hope to have basketball tournaments on a quarterly basis.

We are proud of our small schools for coming together and having fun doing it!

Central CTE Marketing Success

Central’s CTE Marketing program was very active on campus in October! From launching their first-ever Sports Recruitment Carnival, to manufacturing Spirit Week Buttons for homecoming giveaways; they’re pushing student involvement and promoting the high school experience.

Ending the month with multiple collaborative client campaigns, they’ve been selling “Ghost Grahams” with Central’s CBT program and promoting the annual Haunted Hospital with Central’s Sports Medicine program.

Central is redefining project based learning for the marketing classroom, launching their student store and manufacturing departments in quarter one, and now school events and client promotions in quarter two! …and they say, they’re just getting warmed up!

We are so proud of the work that all of our CTE and Magnet programs do. Congratulations on the achievements, Central CTE Marketing!
