MOMS Club® of Buckingham North
May 2017 Minutes for Moms
Message from the President
I don't really think it will come as a surprise to you that one of my favorite aspects of our club is spending time with other moms. I love it! Not long into my time as a mother, I learned that the best advice often comes from other moms. My own mom and mother-in-law are awesome for classic, proven tips and a long-term perspective. And I love chatting with other moms with young children about issues both big and small. I feel like I've built up this huge bank of tips and ideas that I can draw from as Arianna grows and changes. I know a lot of people are into reading parenting books (and that's awesome if it proves helpful!), but I always feel like I'm getting just one person's perspective or method or style when what I really want are lots of different ideas to try out until I can find what works for my family.
So, I would really like to say thank you to all of you! Thank you for being such inspiring examples of awesome moms. Thanks for sharing the ideas and tips that work and for being brave enough to admit your struggles. Thank you for your help, kindness, laughter, generosity, and friendship. I truly believe that we are better mothers because we have each other. :)
Happy Mother's Day!!

Past Events
As we often do, we started out the month with an open gym day at Central Bucks Gymnastics. We held our Member Social in Bush Park where the kids enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt and a warm, sunny day. We took advantage of another warm day and met at Hansell Park to play.
We finished out the month with our MNO baby shower for Child, Home & Community at Ann Marie's house. We enjoyed catching up with each other and chatting with Roe from CHC. Roe left the shower with a car full of donations from our club. Thank you so much for providing needed items to CHC - they were very happy to have our donations! And special thanks for Ann Marie for welcoming us into her home for an enjoyable evening!
