A Message from Mrs. Haymark
Dear Vogel Texans Families,
It is hard to believe that in just 10 days, we will conclude the first semester of school! This has been a year filled with so many wonderful celebrations as well as unexpected changes. However, your support has allowed us to maneuver it all!
As we approach the end of 2021, I have begun to reflect on things that I have been the most grateful and proud. What continues to be a constant is how blessed I feel daily to serve the Vogel community and encounter such wonderful children and families everyday.
Please remember you are vital to the success we seek here at Vogel. So, if you ever have questions or concerns, or would ever like to offer suggestions to support us in any way, please reach out to us. I am wishing you and your family a very happy holiday season!

Parent Access
The most frequently asked question we get at the beginning of the year is how can I help my child be successful in intermediate school. The transition to intermediate can be challenging for some kiddos. The best thing a parent can do to support their child is to help them build organizational systems. Some students have trouble juggling the increased number of teachers and assignments. Help your child get into the routine of checking for work inside their flexi-folder every night. Look at graded assignments that are sent home to see if there are concepts your child is struggling to master. And sign up for a Parent Access account to monitor your child's grades. If you see zeros or "Z"s in the gradebook, it means that your child has not turned in their assignment. Encourage them to complete the work and turn it in. It's never too late to turn work in or too early to start building good study habits. If you don't have a Parent Access account CLICK HERE to register. Your involvement in their education is important. If you have questions on how else you can support your child, please reach out to your child's teacher or one of our school counselors.
