Falcon Library's Winged Word
September/October Edition
Our Library Transformation Process Continues!
We have made even MORE changes to the library!
New Wobbly Stools
The students are CRAZY over our new wobbly stools! Elementary students are active and need to move. Our new wobbly stools promote movement in a safe and productive way which actually help students focus better on the task at hand!
Lego Wall Now OPEN!
Since our library is a place to create, a Lego build wall was installed to help students unleash their creativity in a new and inviting way! Special thank you to Felix Chavarria who donated so many Legos to our library Lego wall!
Design Thinking Signs
Our new Design Thinking Process signs are HOT off the press! We can't wait to install these signs to aid our students in thoughtfully walking through these steps as they build and create major projects.
Calling ALL Storybook Pumpkins!
Hidden Forest Library is growing a pumpkin patch, and we need your help! Decorate a pumpkin to look like one of your favorite book characters, and bring it to the
Library’s Literary Pumpkin Patch!
Start bringing your pumpkins to the library starting on
Monday, October 17th!
Please decorate your pumpkin without cutting, carving, or poking holes into it.
If you want to paint your pumpkin, acrylic paint works best
as spray paint tends to dissolve the pumpkin.
All pumpkins should be picked up by Thursday, October 27th.
We can't wait to see your child's creativity expressed in their pumpkin!
