A reminder to review Emergency/Crisis Response plans. Also a reminder to check your back doors and quad doors to be sure they are locked...DAILY!
Please keep Lorraine Pino in your thoughts, as her father-in-law recently passed away. Also, we are still thinking of Kathy and Rosalie, as they are both recovering at home.
Thank you to those staff members who braved the weather Friday night for Read Across America...we had 120 attend! Thank for your help Carol Pennington, Karen Kreck, Darlene Castellini, Danielle Burns, Chris Hannah, Nicole Sapello, Michele McGill, Karen Morvay, Alexis Cartagena, Linda Wheaton, Janice Johnson, Heather Studstill, and our Kohl's volunteers.
Please remember the Nurse's Office is closed from 1:50-2:50. EMERGENCIES ONLY should be sent to the Main Office during this time. Please leave this in your substitute plans, also.
TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading!
~ Jane Austen
Do you remember the last time you finished a really satisfying book? One that completely engrossed you, one that was so good you missed it like an old friend and couldn't wait to get back to it? In this rushed world where we have unfortunately become accustomed to quick, on-the-go bites of life, reading often becomes nothing more than pieces of online information or entertainment. But to relax into good book, that is the stuff of real enjoyment. Don't let the business of life stand in the way of the many benefits that reading a book offers: improved memory, stress reduction, and the opportunity to model a life enriched by books.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
Turn off the computer and pick up a book before bed. You'll probably sleep better and feel more relaxed for doing so.
Happy Birthday!
