Mission Statement

Accompsett Middle School actively promotes achievement, manners, and spirit by providing a safe and supportive learning environment which nurtures each student’s academic, social, emotional, and physical development while challenging them to reach their full potential. Achievement – we will reach our academic goals; Manners – we will model polite behavior; Spirit – we will demonstrate commitment to our school. At Accompsett Middle School, the faculty, staff, administrators, and parents collaborate to provide a learning community which meets the needs of young adolescents.

Project Wisdom: Making a Difference

The students on Team 6B will read the daily Project Wisdom message during the month of March on the following topics:

  • Cheap or Charitable?

  • Each One Matters

  • Respecting the Land

  • Finding the Dream

Congratulations Donna!

Donna DeLuca's Model Schools Technology Innovation Grant application was selected as an award winner by Western Suffolk BOCES.


As an award winner, Donna will be able to order $1,000 worth of materials/hardware/software for use in the AMS Library Media Center. There will also be an awards brunch at Western Suffolk BOCES Wheatley Heights on June 7th from 8:30am-11:00am.


What a wonderful validation of her tireless efforts! Donna is an invaluable assets to our community.

The Lion King JR.

The AMS Drama Club invites you to a performance of The Lion King JR. Friday, April 1st, at 7:30, and Saturday, April 2nd, at 1:00 and 7:30. This production would not have been possible without the efforts of the Musical Director, Ron Concessi, and Mike Colletta (art/technical support).
