Charter Renewal News

Parents, the APC board has approved the FPCS 2022-2032 Recharter Renewal application (PDF file directly below this article) and it has been submitted to ASD for review. Upon District approval, it will go on to the state for finalization. We want to thank the team of people who have worked hard to put this together for the longevity of our school.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

One of the agreements that our Charter has with the Anchorage School District is that FPCS students will participate in state and local assessments. The Fall 2021 MAP Testing window will be 9/20-10/1. These assessments are for students in K-9th grade with the exception of the MAP Spring 2021 testing window (March 28-April 8), which includes a Science module for 10th grade students.

Families are encouraged to sign up soon to ensure that you are able to secure your preferred testing days and times.

Coming soon: links to access the practice MAP assessments and general information about MAP. Contact your Sponsor Teacher with questions.
