Student Progress
We would like to let all parents know that the MES administration will be contacting families of students not making adequate progress this school year. We understand how difficult distance learning can be for families, and we will work with families to help provide support and a plan to move forward for those students who need additional help during the second half of the year. It is always important to remember to keep in communication with your child's teacher to understand the progress he or she is making during any school year, but it is especially important in these unique circumstances. We believe all students have the ability to meet their potential, and we strive to support them getting there.
Supply Pickups
Teachers will notify parents when (and if) there are new school materials to pick up at Mammoth Elementary School. Our pick up hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 2:00pm. We will continue to distribute through the teacher lounge window to minimize contact. Please be sure to drive slowly and safely in the parking lot, and let us know your student's name and his/her teacher's name so we can get the correct handouts to you.
All TK, kinder and 1st grade students who have not already picked up a new iPad can come to the window and exchange their older iPads for a new one. Please remember to write down any passwords needed and also wipe down the old iPad before returning it.
MES Online Tutoring and After School Academic Support

Attention 4th and 5th Graders...Beginning Band Info
A message from Mr. Hammers for all our MES 4th and 5th graders (FLEX and MILES)
Calling all musicians! Does your student want to learn how to play a wind instrument? MES Beginning Band is here! (no experience needed - instruments will be provided).
Classes will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm. We will rehearse at home, over zoom to begin, and shift to "in person" classes if/when possible. Available instruments are listed on the flyer. (Instruments will be checked out to use at home - based on availability). The class is free - sponsored by MES PTO, though a $40 donation is encouraged to help maintain school owned instruments).
