Open House Is Tomorrow Tuesday 8/24!

We are holding our in-person open house event this TUESDAY, AUGUST 24th from 5-7pm. Teachers will be available to meet and greet students and families. Students should bring their printed schedules.

Please note for Open House that masks are recommended and not required by all visitors in the building. In an effort to reduce the possibility of virus spread before schools begin, we ask that during Open House time, you please visit your child’s classrooms, drop off necessary supplies and minimize the amount of time spent in the building. Franklin Youth Volition and our parent group, PAWS, will be set up outside the main entrance to talk with families and students about their programs. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night!

As we get closer to welcoming students into the building, we would like to share information about our procedures that have been updated since last year.

Please take time to review our morning drop off and afternoon pick-up procedures. The procedures have been updated since last year but are consistent with the original drop off and pick up procedures we used during our first year at the new Forest Park.

Student schedules were released on Friday. Please reach out to your school counselor if you have any questions regarding your student's schedule.

FPS Staggered Start

As communicated in the most recent district newsletter, we will be doing a staggered start at the beginning of this school year. Please click the graphic below to view specific details on when your student should be attending school during those first few days of September.

The days that students do not attend during the first week are considered non-school days for those students. This means students will not be assigned any homework or virtual work; they will have no school requirements on those days when they are not in session. In addition, for students in grades 5K through 8, if you have a blended family with two last names, you may send those students on the same day during the first week of school.

New -- SPEAK UP SPEAK OUT FORM

The District has joined “Speak Up Speak Out Wisconsin” for threat or incident reporting. This takes the place of our previous “StopIt” reporting form. Click on this link to view the new form. You will notice as you start typing the name of your school, the choices for schools narrows so you can select your school. By selecting your school, this report goes to the principal or local law enforcement when needed.
