Ball Park Newsletter #23
February 22-26, 2021
Now that March 29 has been announced as the official date when ELEMENTARY students wanting in-person instruction can return to our school, I plan to communicate with all of you on a weekly basis with all of the information you will need to fully understand what reopening will look like at Robinson. You can expect more detailed information from me starting the week of March 1. For now, if you haven’t already done so, I would encourage you to read the recently revised LBUSD School Opening and Safety Plan document available on our district website at https://www.lbschools.net/District/coronavirus.cfm. We will continue to update this document as new information becomes available. I am so excited to see our students back on campus, and look forward to the opportunity to interact with you in the coming days.
For our Middle School families, your patience is greatly appreciated. April 20 has been the date our district has announced for students wanting in-person instruction. A parent survey will go out to families during the month of March. As more details become available, I will be sure to share with all of you.
Thanks again for all of your support to keep our students connected!

Hello Dolphin Parents!
It’s Ms. Denise and I want to let you know that I’m back! Back for FUN and ADVENTURES from the WRAP program to help make Virtual Programming for our JROB students something for them to look forward to!
I’ve compiled a list of activities that I’m sure will have them asking for more! For example, courtesy of the California Science Museum, I will be playing the role of “The Gross Scientist! The kids will be learning things like Sticky Snot, Let It Rip (Why do farts make sounds?), Spill Your Guts (Why vomiting is important!), and Germ Busters. For these and other hands-on activities, WE will provide the kids with the supplies needed for the activity.
We will recognize some Fun Facts of the day (Chinese New Year, Random Act of Kindness Day, Make a Friend Day, and more!) For Friday’s Fun Day, we’ll do some singing and dancing to end the week on a good note!
There will also be Yoga and Stretching classes, along with instructions on how to make a healthy snack, and The Boys & Girls Club will be providing the necessary supplies/ingredients!
This program is open to all JROB students from 2:30-4:30 and is sure to fill up fast, so be sure to fill out the application by going to this link:
