Traffic Safety
Once again, I am reaching out to all of our families with a heartfelt plea to consider the safety of our students.
We are grateful to our volunteers who give their time to help our students and families cross safely. Unfortunately, they are often putting themselves in danger by stepping out in front of fast moving traffic, and their reminders of the drop off zone rules are being ignored.
There should be no parking on Holmes Street. This is a drop-off zone only. By parking in this area, particularly the "no stopping zone", you are impeding the view of pedestrians and other drivers.
Please:
Slow Down
Use the cross walk
Follow the directions of our supervisors
Do not park on Holmes Street and walk you child into school
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Christmas Concert
This year's Christmas concert is titled, Away In A Mango!
A festive holiday cruise to Christmas Island aboard the luxurious Yuletide turns perilous for nine passengers on a day shopping excursion when their boat, the SS Mango, is caught in an unexpected storm and washed ashore on a deserted island. Deserted, that is, except for the island's lone inhabitant, Johnny Coconut, marooned there years before. Will they be found in time for the ship's big Christmas Concert? What's Johnny's story? All aboard for a totally fresh, totally fun Christmas adventure for kids as they join the intrepid castaways of the SS Mango. After all, the story of the birth of Jesus is the story of lost people, unable to save themselves, being rescued by the long-awaited Savior!
All students will be performing a musical number for the concert, and we are asking that they come in a tropical-style costume for the performance. The easiest option is for your child to wear an 'Hawaiian' shirt, with jeans and tropical accessories. If you do not have a 'Hawaiian' shirt, another option is for your child to wear his/her 'Away In A Mango' t-shirt (order forms were sent home this week), with jeans and tropical accessories. Remember, the key is to accessorize!

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
