Schedule Information
All Middle School students will attend Middle School Closing following their last exam on Friday, June 1O. The Middle School ceremony will be in the Upper Gym at 11:00 am. All Middle School students must be in dress uniform for the day. Buses will depart Wakefield School at 12:45pm.
Upper School: The Upper School exam schedule by student was sent to all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders from Mr. Oliver on May 31st. Please check the student's email for more details. Contact Mr. Oliver or Mrs. Butler (540-253-7519) with any questions.
Important Dates from the Business Office
- The annual MS & US Follett Book Buy Back event will be held on Thursday, June 9th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Treptow Library.
- Smart Lunches service has ended--students will need to provide their own lunch this week.
- Our regular bus service will continue until after the Middle School closing ceremony, Friday, June 10. Buses will depart Wakefield School at 12:45 on June 10th.
- Middle School aftercare will be provided through June 9th. There will be no Middle School aftercare on June 10th.
- We will have someone answering the phones until 6 p.m. through Thursday, June 9th.
- Remember to turn in all library books. Your account will be billed in June for any unreturned library books!

Upper School Student Cory Kleinman in the News!
Cory Kleinman, 11th grader, has been selected as a Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholar, having participated in the interactive on-line science, technology, engineering and mathematics learning experience highlighted by a seven-day residential summer academy at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in Hampton, Va. Students selected to participate in the program are immersed in NASA-related research through interaction with scientists, engineers and technologists.
In addition, Cory is one of 15 (out of more than 500) students nominated for a Cappies National Capital Area Critics Award. The Cappies is a national organization which trains Theatre and journalism students to critique and review other local high school theater productions. Five of Corinne’s reviews were selected for publication – three in the Washington Post and two in other local newspapers.
