This is it! The last week of the end of the first semester! What a whirlwind! There is alot going on, so please make sure that you read this edition to get the gist of what this week looks like for us! This semester has been really great! We appreciate all that you do! On behalf of administration---Have a wonderful, restful and amazing holiday with your loved ones!
Early Release for Students Tuesday-Friday
Friday Procedures!!
This week beginning Tuesday….WE will let be having the “It’s 5:00 somewhere” time – This will occur if we are turning in those grades on time daily…We truly hope to have some of these days!! It’s 5:00 somewhere is from Tuesday to Thursday….Admin will make an announcement on these days to let you know!
We are a team!! Therefore, please see the procedures below to get us all out on Friday as early as possible!!
· ALL grades are due by 2:30 p.m
· ALL teachers will need to stay until ALL grades (this means by every teacher, in every department), are turned in to Carola!
· Your final clearance sheet must be turned in to Denise.
· Admin will make an announcement to all, so that we are aware of who is not yet clear.
· We encourage ALL teachers to support one another and to help get those grades and clearances in!!
· Once ALL grades have been received by every teacher in the building, Admin will make an announcement to let everyone go! Let's do all we can to meet this deadline on Friday!!
Festivities for the WEEK!!
Tuesday – Friday – turkey and ham giveaways – listen for your name to be drawn after each exam – we will be giving 2 out per day.
Tuesday – The Little Elf’s Holiday Party (for the staff’s kids/grandkids)…Santa will be coming – 3:15 – 4:30.
Wednesday – Secret Santa Luncheon in L108 (for those participating in Secret Santa) – don’t forget to sign up to bring a dish
Thursday – Staff Breakfast – bagels, sweet rolls and fruit will be provided by the front office – Kay Ellis will be sending out a google docs so staff can sign up to bring a dish to share – in library viewing room
Thursday – End of year staff meeting in the auditorium – time 3:00
Friday – Get the heck out of here ASAP!!!! Check-out starting at 2:30
