National Academy of Finance

We are pleased to announce that we will add another academy here at our wonderful school for the 2021-2022 school year. We will join the National Academy Foundation (NAF) and have the National Academy of Finance as an option for students. Students will be able to "choice" to Spoto HS from around the county to join the Academy of Finance, and it will be application-based.

We must offer students more STEM opportunities--which include the business sector. Through NAF, students will have an opportunity to develop business skills and network with local businesses in and outside of our area--in addition to attending local and state conferences. Part of NAF is to have a group of core teachers who will align their content with STEM and Business concepts taught through the NAF program. Students who are selected to be in the Academy of Finance will be in a cohort--just like our Collegiate Academy students.
