A: Chillicothe Elementary will hold kindergarten screenings on Monday, August 10th through Thursday, August 13th.

Q: Do I need to complete the pre-registration process before I schedule a time to bring my child to CES for kindergarten screening?

A: Yes! It is important that you complete the pre-registration process delineated above before you schedule a time to bring your child to CES for the screening process. The pre-registration process above ensures that we have your child in our School Information System prior to your child's kindergarten screening.

Q: If my child attended CELC pre-school, will my child still have to participate in kindergarten screening?

A: During a typical school year, parents of children who attended pre-school at CELC do not have to schedule a kindergarten screening because our CES kindergarten screening team works with CELC pre-school teachers to schedule your child's screening during your child's pre-school time. However, due to the District-wide COVID-19 shutdown, our CES kindergarten screening team was unable to complete the screenings for CELC attendees. Therefore, all incoming kindergarteners will need to complete the kindergarten screening process scheduled during August 10th through August 13th.

Q: How do I schedule a time for my student to participate in the screening process?
