The Black Death

The Unforgetable Plague

The Cause of the Black Death

A bacteria called Yersinia pestis infected fleas. Them fleas got onto rats and infected them. Leading to rats biting humans and infecting them.

Everyone had different symptoms but the one that was most noticeable was buboes that were on the groin, neck, and armpits that oozed pus and blood when opened. Others are acute fever and vomiting of blood. Most people died in 2-7 days into initial infection.
