Hello Rockdale Family! I hope everyone is well and adjusting to distance learning. I know that the change may be stressful for students, but as we move forward it will become easier. Stick with it! We are continuously working to improve the process so that we can meet the needs of our students. Thank you for your patience as we work on this together. Opportunities & To-Do Items:
Packet Pick Up: Students using paper based learning may pick up their packets on Monday from 8:00-12:00 (Primary). If you cannot make that time, you can still pick up throughout the week.
Drop Box: There is a Drop Box located at the front doors of RHS. You may return packets or scholarship applications at any time.
Cap and Gown: Seniors can pick up their cap and gown if they have been paid for. Our goal is to have graduation but have been asked by many, what if we do not? Balfour will offer refunds for caps and gowns as long as they have not been opened.
ACT/SAT: Many of the test dates have been canceled. We are asking to be a test sight in June if they have the test at that time. We will give you more information once we confirm.
Free Tutorial Site: Check out www.itutoring.com for free math help. This website has videos for Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Cal, an SAT prep course, and 2 practice SAT tests! username: rockdale / password: tigers
Free Math Tutorial Site: Mathway.com is a math problem solving website that will show you step by step how to solve math problems.
Scholarships: Seniors please continue to check the scholarship link on the RHS Webpage for updated scholarship opportunities. The scholarship list is updated frequently during this time of year. You can drop off scholarship applications in the orange drop box in front of the school.
