Lives: Fresh water.

Method of locomotion: extends a psuedopod then draws itself to it.

Method of getting food: It flows it's cell membrane and cytoplasm around the food.

Type of reproduction: asexual

One quality setting it apart from the other three: any spot on it can open and excrete waste.

Euglena

Eugleana:

Lives: Brackish (salt and fresh water)

Method of locomotion: they wiggle a whip likae tail called a flaguella.

Method of getting food: They produce their own food using photosynthesis and chloroplasts.

Type of reproduction: asexual

One quality setting it apart from the other three: can be left alone in the dark for a long time.

Volvox

Volvox:

Lives: Fresh water

Method of locomotion: they also use a flagella.

Method of getting food: Also use photosynthesis.

Type of reproduction: Sexual

One quality setting it apart from the other three: They team up to form a ball shape of colonies.

paramecium

Paramecium:

Lives: Fresh Water.

Method of locomotion: has a cilia.

Method of getting food: the Oral groove leads to a gullet where food is placed.

Type of reproduction: asexual
