Winner: Aleeza Riaz for her superb poem entitled ‘The Lexical Rainbow’
First runner-up La-Raiba Awas for her diligence in finding 110 greetings in different languages

I would like to appreciate all students who have not had a single behaviour log since the start of the year. They are a credit to the school and I am proud of them all.

Y7: all of 7B3 for their diligence in writing on Wednesday and learning the sentence types from their Knowledge navigators.
Mr Farooq would like to appreciate Safwan Choudry for having a great couple of weeks without detentions.
Mr Alam would like to appreciate all the year 7 boys that come to football club; they played excellent against the year 8’s and won again 7-5!
A special appreciation to Waleed, Safwaan and Azeem! Waleed for his hatrick and Azeem and Safwaan for always playing defensively for the team, it does not go unnoticed!
Miss Knowles would like to appreciate 7BEn3 for a massive improvement in civility in lesson. Students are observing the Learning Modes much more closely.
Mr S Hussain would like to appreciate year 7 - they have all progressed by a WHOLE level and gained a certificate in Lexia). Can the rest catch up or beat them?? 😄😄

Mrs Cheetham would like to appreciate 7 B science set 1 for completing their first full practical in the superlab. They showed great civility throughout and achieved some fantastic results

Miss Khan appreciates Hannah Sayed- thank you for taking time out to play football with me and other students after school. She was very skilful as well!
Mr Iqbal appreciates 7.5 for receiving a record low number of detention this week! Well done to Armaan for a turn around in his behaviour, keep it up! A huge thank you to all those who help out at family dining, in particular Fariah, Waleed, Zain, Hanna, Hafsa, Arisaa.
Appreciate the whole of 7E for the outstanding effort they have put into their lessons this week. In particular Haider and Amaan for their enthusiasm and efforts. And isa, amaan and usmaan for showing great diligence in helping their classmates! Well done and keep it up!

Sahil Arif for his huge improvement in showing diligence and integrity this week. He has been very focused in Reading Plus, and has been rewarded with some excellent results and progress in his literacy skills.
Farah Wallace for a diligent and organised start to her role as family dining co-ordinator.
Hamza Abdalla for improved behaviour and effort in lessons, leading to a lot of really positive conversations with his subject teachers.
Aniqah Kauser, Saanya Iqbal, Amad Hussain and Hassan Kothdiwala for their constant diligence and excellent progress in Spanish lessons.

Please can I appreciate Mrs Thompson’s year 10 English class and mine too for showing resilience and maturity when we combined the classes. In particular, I would like to appreciate Suleman and Abdulrhman’s insightful contributions.
Miss Binns would like to appreciate Mariyah Anjum from my 10O/ma4 class for achieving 100% in her mini-test on surface area.

Laila Iqbal – for always asking questions in lesson to further her own knowledge and understanding but also for not being afraid to challenge me when we are having class discussions on particular topics.
