Message From Your Leadership Team
Well, this week has certainly been inundated with uncharted territories; cancelling beloved school events, adjusting social norms, enhancing hygiene practices, and preparations for a potential prolonged school closing. While this is a time that is filled with uncertainty, please know that the health and safety of our students and staff will continue to be the priority throughout the decision making process. The most important thing you can do for your family is to remain calm, adhere to guidelines from the health department and attempt to find the positive in a difficult situation. Remember, for the most part our kids will follow our lead....if we remain calm, so will they!
Wash your hands and STAY HEALTHY! And for up to date information about the Coronavirus, check out the Webster CSD website.
Warm Regards,
Jen Sullivan (Principal) and Jill Doyle (Assistant Principal)

Hand Washing is SO Important
Please help us teach your child the importance of hand washing. We have worked on this at school and would love the help reinforcing the importance at home!
The CDC recommends this hand washing process:
- Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

Spring Plant Sale Coordinator Needed!!!
We have a last-minute need for a Spring Plant Sale Coordinator to run this year’s sale. The program will be May 7-8th this year during the school day, with some planning time required starting mid-April.
If you are interested, please contact Jennifer Lega (Jennifer.lega@gmail.com) or Sue Ball (Sball002@yahoo.com) for more information on the responsibilities.
Box Tops
We are still collecting Box Tops at Plank South! The program has changed, and most of the Box Tops are collected digitally now by scanning your store receipts. Don’t forget to get the app on your phone! You can also find bonus Box Tops opportunities on the app when you buy certain items throughout the year!
Some items in store still have Box Tops that can be clipped and turned in at school! We collect at the end of each month. Proceeds fund the PTSA events throughout the year!
