I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday with family and friends. We are all looking forward to ending our second quarter and first semester strong! Make sure to check your child's PowerSchool for any missing assignments/etc. It is hard to believe that almost half of our school year is over. Let's make 2022 the BEST yet! Please be sure to look through our newsletter to find out more about our activities/events too.
A big THANK YOU to our Student Council for promoting our winter spirit week and door decorating contest before we left for break!! Remember we are still collecting gloves, mittens, scarves, etc. for the Blessing House. This will continue through January 13th. Thank you for considering a donation!

- If your son/daughter is not feeling well, please keep them home from school and call our 24 hour attendance line 440-934-3838.
- Each student needs to use their avoneagles.org account when they are here at school. Please remind your child to use this account when at school. Thank you!
- Students need to make sure to CHARGE their devices each night and remember to bring their devices with them to school. A good habit to start is when they get home they plug it in next to their bookbag! We have been running out of loner devices in our media center.
Counselor Corner
As we return from break our students will be taking their MAP assessments in both ELA and Math. These tests will be completed by mid January and results will be sent home via email by the end of January. The OST assessments are planned for April-May. Specific dates for each grade level will be finalized soon and sent out to families.
Preparations for scheduling for the 2022-2023 school year are taking place and information will be given to students and families as soon as details are finalized.
The counselors are also working with the eighth grade class to promote Lorain County JVS and their programs. A tour of JVS is scheduled to take place on January 21st for interested 8th grade students.
