Principal's Newsletter

From the Desk of Ms. Clark

April 30, 2020

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that tomorrow we enter the month of May! This global pandemic places us in the situation in which we are not certain or in control. As we practice the virtue of humility during the month of May, let us think of this as a time when we are most teachable, often because we are most humbled. Together, we humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift us up.

Below are some updates for our Digital Learning and the closing of our school year:

  • There will be no Digital Learning on Friday, May 22nd and Monday, May 25th.
  • We are planning a Drive-In May Crowning on school grounds for Thursday, May 28th at 1pm. Please save this tentative date.
  • The last day for Digital Learning will be on Friday, May 29th.
  • We will have a Virtual Field Day on Monday, June 1st
  • Book Drop-off/Pick-up for Grades Pre-K, K, and 8 will be on Wednesday, 6/3 via Sign-Up Genius which will be sent in order to stagger pick-up
  • Book Drop-off/Pick-up for Grades 1-3-5-7 will be on Thursday, 6/4 via Sign-Up Genius which will be sent to stagger pick-up.
  • Book Drop-off/Pick-up for Grades 2-4-6 will be on Friday, 6/5 via Sign-Up Genius which will be sent to stagger pick-up.
  • Teachers will email a list of items that must be returned to school.

Thank you for all you are doing despite being challenged and having your lives changed. May we cherish this Easter season as a time to be thankful for the gift of love and joy in our lives. May Christ's peace and joy surround you, now and always.

God's blessings,

Ms. Clark
