Boettcher Foundation Finalist & Teacher Recognition
EHS senior Colton Arciniaga was recently named a finalist for the 2020 Boettcher Scholarship, out of 1,500 applicants who exhibited excellence in academics, leadership, service, and extracurricular activities. Each finalist was asked to identify one teacher who impacted their lives and made significant contributions to their growth and education. Colton chose EHS science teacher Robyn Poirier, who will be honored with a personalized plaque, a special tribute from Colton, and a $500 grant to be used for an educational project, activity, professional development, or piece of equipment she feels will benefit her students and school.
Congratulations to Colton on becoming a finalist, and to Mrs. Poirier for inspiring students and setting a standard of excellence for others.
