Monday Memo

January 18, 2016

Hope you all enjoyed your Monday. The snow has finally arrived! Hope you had a safe drive in this morning, especially those of you coming from the "lake effect" area. I have quite a bit of snow at home in Greece!

Last week our "Mock Newbery Club" meet with students from Fred Hill Elementary and Terry Taylor Elementary to celebrate and learn which book won their Newbery contest. In case you haven't heard, Like a River: A Civil War Novel won. The real Newbery winner was Last Stop on Market Street. For a list of the 2016 ALSC Book & Media Award winners, click here.

Don't to sign up for your Professional Learning Walk. There are still spots available for January dates. This is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with each other.
