Lens- Water
Refraction - Water
Look at the picture below
Light rays are traveling through the air and as they enter the medium WATER they bend causes the object(person) to be distorted. Her head appears bent and her body in the water is magnified.
Water acts as a lens.
Lens- Telescope
As light enters and passes through the LENS the light is bent causing the object to appear larger or MAGNIFIED
This is how we can see objects in space from Earth
Lens- Magnifying
As light enters the lens the light is bent and it is magnified and appears LARGER
