Pleasant Valley Family Newsletter
September 11, 2020
Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Hello Pleasant Valley Families,
Week one of our Distance Learning for our PV STARS in grades 1-4 has come and gone, and I continue to be more and more impressed with our learners each day. I know this is not easy, I know it’s not where we want to be, but to see our STARS (especially our younger ones) build stamina and become more and more engaged and independent each day with distance learning has let me know that our teachers’ hard work is paying off. I know that not every child is having the same experience, so continue to show patience as your child works to become more independent. I was in awe at how hard our teachers, learners, and parents have worked to get us to this point! We are going to need all of the support we can get in order to continue with our early success. Having ALL of our learners logging in each day is no easy feat, and as each day passes, we are able to troubleshoot more problems in hopes of getting 100% daily participation! We do hope that we can welcome our students to the hybrid model soon, so wear your masks!
Our STARS in PV-PVLA will begin distance learning on Tuesday, September 15th at 9:15 am. We are excited to have them start too! Your child's classroom teacher may have reached out today or on Monday to welcome them and to give them the necessary information to begin on Tuesday morning. We will be taking attendance promptly at 9:15 am every morning.
