Joseph Stalin

Joseph Stalin was a dictator of the union of Soviet. He was born in 1878, this man was transformed from a peasant to a powerful military man. When he was ruling many feared him it was a reign of terror. Stalin became more involved in revolutionary politics and criminal activity as a young man. After Vladimir Lenin died Stalin fought for the power. Once he gets into power he collectivized farming and had enemies. He aligned himself with the U.S. and Britain in World War ll, but soon after he increasingly raised the tension with the west known as the Cold War. In 1912 Stalin was officially appointed into power. He became secretary general of central committee of the communist party. In 1949 he led the soviets into a nuclear age by exploding an atomic bomb. Stalin grew paranoid in his later years and died on March 5, 1953 after suffering a stroke.

Rasputin

Rasputin was born into a Siberian peasant family in 1869. He received little education he didn't learn much. In his early years some people would say he had supernatural powers others would say extremely cruel things. He became a monk soon after but left shortly, At 19 he got married and had three children 2 died shortly after there birth. In his early 20's he left his family and traveled to Greece. In 1903 his wanderings brought him to St. Petersburg with a reputation as a mystic and faith healer. after two years he was introduced to Czar Nicholas ll and his wife who were looking for help to cure there son Alexis. He supposedly cured there son from hemophilia he quickly gained there trust. On the night of December 29, 1916 a group of conspirators invited him to Yusupov palace. They fed him wine and cakes laced with cyanide which had no effect on him. The conspirators couldn't wait no longer to see if the poison would harm him so they shot him multiple times. Then they wrapped him in carpet and thrown into the Nava river, only to be found three days later.

Vladimir Lenin

Lenin was born on April 22, 1870 in simbirsk Russia. He got his last name Lenin while doing underground party work. He had a passion for learning and finished first in his high school class. His life wasn't all that great he had two situations that shaped his life. That just made him stronger. Lenin enrolled at Kazan University to study law his time was cut short because he was expelled for taking part in a student demonstration. Lenin immersed himself in a host of radical literature he also soaked up writing. In 1892 he received his law degree finishing schoolwork. Later in the war Lenin became frustrated extended to his fellow Marxists. He passionately distrusted that segment of the population. Lenin's ideas really paved the way for one man dictatorship over the people he claimed he wanted to empower. Lenin's mind was always on revolutionary politics. When he returned home in 1917 Lenin was sensing a path of power for himself. He led what is known as the October Revolution. He also launched what is known as Red Terror. In the year of 1918 Lenin escaped an assassination attempt, because he was severely wounded from several bullets that he received. Many years later he suffered from two strokes, and newly formed USSR for when he was gone. A year later he suffered from a even bigger stroke this one left him not being able to speak. After ten months of suffering he died on January 21, 1924.

Leon Trotsky

Leon was born on November 7, 1879. He was in school until he was about 8years old then he became enthralled with Marxism. He helped found the Russian workers union and he was sent to jail. He was sentenced to four years but escaped just two years later. He later found himself in London and had gotten married again. He was involved with the social democratic Party. Everyone always argued for power even Leon. Later there was a rebellion and Leon was arrested yet again. He escaped yet again and spent 10 Years traveling from city to city and started writing about the revolution. Years later he was sitting at his desk and a Secret police came an attacked him with an ice ax and Leon died a day later.

Hideki Tojo

Tojo was born around 1884 he was a prime minister and a army Minister. Tojo liked to upgrade and make the army strong he wanted to improve even in the smallest detail. He played a key role in the opening hostilities against China. He later had his experience in combat, leading two bridges on operations in inner magnolia. He still continued to have conflict with China. He tried to push to form an alliance with Germany. He supported last minute diplomatic efforts and gave the approval to attack the US, great Britain and Dutch. After a year the the Japanese surrendered Tojo attempted suicide when threatened to arrest him by occupation authorities. The was tried and hanged as a war criminal.

Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 he was the leader of the Nazi party. He was the reason million of Jew's were killed. As a young boy he had a interest in fine art. He applied twice but was rejected. Then he applied to the army while a break out of the Germans he was quickly accepted. He later became a intelligence officer and he adopted to anti-Semitic, nationalism, and anti-Marxism. Hitler took advantage of the great depression to take control. He ran to be president but Paul won. They offered a position as chancellor. He used his position to his advantage such as making group or allies. He achieved full control over the legislative and executive government. Later the Nazi party was declared the only legal political party. After all the concentration camps he had he never went to one of them to see those innocent people die. Hitler and his wife committed suicide a day after there wedding.

Czar Nicholas ll

Czar was born on May 6, 1868 he was heir the the Russian Empire. He revived his education thought many tutors and was the highest ranking of his class. He excelled in history and foreign languages. When he turned 19 he joined the army he was very passionate about it and took months perfecting himself. He shortly got crowned as king and needed to have kids to secure the family name. He soon had a daughter then another and another. They had 5 kids in total. He sooner figured out that his youngest boy had hemophilia and they were so desperate to get him cured. After that they went back to work and needed to improve the working conditions, and troops came in killing thousand of mean thus known as bloody Sunday. In 1918 czars family and him were murdered.

Benito Mussolini

Benito was born on July 29, 1883 and he was the eldest of three children. He was a blacksmith and an impassioned socialist who spent much of his time on politics and much of his money on his mistress. He moved to Switzerland to promote socialism. He caught the attention of the Swiss authorities and was soon expelled. He joined the Italian army in 1915 and fought on the front lines, reaching the rank of corporal before being wounded and discharged from the military. After the war he continued his political Activity's. After that he impressed with Italy's early military successes, German dictator Adolf Hitler sought to establish a relationship with Benito Mussolini he was flattered by Hitler's overtures and interpreted the recent diplomatic and military victories as proof of his genius. After everything Mussolini and his mistress, Claretta Petacci, attempted to escape to Switzerland, but were captured by the Italian underground on April 27, 1945. They were executed the following day.
