Paul Klee Cats
The second graders looked at the art of Paul Klee focusing on the lines that he used and the colors. For this project first they painted a background using liquid watercolor and picking a color scheme. Once their painting was dry they drew their cat using lines and creating shapes. Lastly they added a layer of crayon for additional color and texture.
The students then got to explore being inspired by Paul Klee by making a cat or bird out of clay. They focused on picking a color scheme and making solid attachments using the slip and score method.
