News and Updates from FSMA
Pump It Up
Over 150 FSMA students jumped, climbed, slid, threw, ran, and played at Pump It Up on Thursday night. Seeing your friends outside of school is exciting for kids... it was great to watch them run into a classmate and react like they just found a long, lost friend. The children were abuzz Friday morning talking about the fun they had. Thanks to our PTO for organizing such an awesome night.
On Friday, January 29th at 7:00 p.m., FSMA will gather at the 87ers game. The deadline for tickets has been extended to Tuesday ($10 each). Not sure if basketball is your thing, no worries - there are tons of child-friendly activities and FSMA kids get to go onto the court for a high five tunnel! Plus, FSMA staff members will be called onto the court for a special celebration. And, everyone gets a free hat!
While many activities are planned for children to build their community, there are also events for the adults at FSMA to build community. At this month's meeting on 1/28, three branches of FSMA will hold meetings. At 6:00 p.m., our PTO meeting will focus on how parents can support our expansion plans. Then, Jill will demonstrate what a Montessori grammar lesson looks like. Lastly, at 7:00 p.m.. the FSMA Board will host it's monthly public session.

Check out the SignUp Genius link (below and on our website) for ways you can support FSMA over the next few weeks. There are many activities for our children that require parent volunteers and donations. Some of the ways you can help are - donating baked goods, helping with decorating, volunteering at events, and more. We ask that ALL families think about what works best for them and signs up to help in one way at either the Happy Hearts Celebration or Winter Olympics. Thank you for helping us create such memorable opportunities for our community!
