Thanks to everyone for purchasing Valentine Grams last week. We had many parents purchase extra grams so that all of our students were able to receive one, we are so thankful for all of you.

On Monday, the lottery opens at Clyde Erwin for rising Kindergarteners into our Spanish Language Immersion program and students in Kindergarten through fifth for our regular school magnet lottery. Please help us share the word with friends and neighbors about our amazing school. Applications are online with Onslow County Schools through March 1.

We are looking forward to the kickoff of Read Across America in two weeks! We'll also be celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday. All of our students will begin reading the book

"8 Class Pets + 1 Squirrel ÷ 1 Dog = Chaos" beginning on Monday, March 1. All students will receive the book and bring it home nightly to read with their family. We'll have trivia questions daily and prizes, we hope to further develop our students' love of reading.
