Hello Sprague Families,

Principal Ann Hofmeier had an unfortunate falling accident and injured her foot and ankle. She will be having surgery and taking a short leave to recuperate. Assistant Principal Jen Arroyo will be the administrator in charge while Mrs. Hofmeier is absent. Please direct any questions to Mrs. Arroyo, jarroyo@d103.org, during this time.

Please recheck PowerSchool later in the day on Friday, August 18, for bus assignments. Please fill out the D103 Change in Bus Stop Request form ONLY if you would like to request a different bus stop when school begins due to daycare matters or parental joint custody. To track your child's bus this year, visit our Stopfinder website to review its features and click on the link on the page to sign up. Families who have signed up in the past, do not need to sign up again. Please review the Transportation Department Back-to-School letter for other important busing news.

The physical, updated vaccines, and dental forms are mandated for entry into school for children entering the following grade levels:

• All new students to D103
• All kindergarten students
• Second-grade (dental forms only)
• All sixth-grade students

These forms are due before the start of the school year, no exceptions. Please check with your child's pediatrician should you have any questions regarding your child's vaccine status.

Students pay for school lunches using MySchoolBucks. Students will have ID cards that show their lunch balance. We encourage you to sign up for autoreplenish so your account does not go negative. You should also sign up for Low Balance Emails so you are notified if account is low. Quest Food Services, the district's lunch provider puts lunch menus in FD MealPlanner.

Assist your child's teacher by signing up to become a classroom room parent. The PTO will inform all volunteers of their assignments later this month. If you are unable to access Membership Toolkit to sign up, please email president@d103pto.org and include which teacher you would like to be a room parent.
