STEM PLC Norms
Purpose: Explore STEM and PBL best practice & instructional strategies. Analyze & monitor student performance. Learn and grow as a team. We will stick to our agenda. Please discuss any potential agenda items by Monday of each week with Ms. Clark.
Engagement: All attendees have meaningful participation and contributions. No cell phone usage please.
Record Keeping: A designated note-taker will record STEM PLC learning & decisions on a Google Doc in the campus team drive. Team leaders will communicate with team members not in attendance each week.
Questions or concerns regarding the STEM program, students, or teachers should be brought up during PLC time for discussion and resolution.
Agenda
2. PBL Share Out - Be prepared to share your PBL with the team in 5 minutes or less. Share the driving question, problem or challenge to be solved, what topics/standards your project addresses, and what students will create.
3. Determine showcase date and put on campus calendar.
4. Make sure all STEMtastic dates are put on the campus calendar.
5. Reminder - please communicate any time you have a guest coming with Ms. Clark. Also, if you have something awesome going on in class that you would like us to come by and see, please let us know!
