Check-in from MHS Counseling
Montgomery High School
Dear Monty Family,
We are thinking of you in this challenging time where we are missing our connections and our routines. We hope you are being gentle with yourself and one another and we invite you to join us in Monty Zen tomorrow (see below) to take a break from any stress you may be feeling.
This is our weekly informational email. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your counselor.
Monty Counseling Google Classroom
Be sure to add us to your google 'classes' for important information and resources. We will add information as it becomes available. This is a great way to stay up to date on things like SRJC enrollment, work permits, transcript requests, etc.

Work permits
The school is working with the district office to have a central location to pick up/process work permits. We will give you more information when we have it.
Reaching us via PHONE and email or zoom
We have all set-up our work phones to be forwarded to our homes via an application. It has some bugs, but it is a way to reach us. Try calling our work phone numbers to be directed to us if you would like to connect: 707-890-3830

Monty Zen
Ms. Natalini and Ms. Burge are offering Monty Zen via Zoom. This is a short meeting where students can learn some relaxation and stress-reduction tools. Please pass on the link. If there is interest, we will offer it each Thursday at 10:00. The first session is TOMORROW at 10:00 am!

Cyber High
Students should continue work (daily) on their cyber high courses. As we explained last week, the end of the unit exams will not be offered/required. You must complete all of the activities and end of the unit QUIZZES at a 60% or higher to earn credit. Mr. Baglien and your counselor will be monitoring your work.
Ridgeway
Students who have already been referred to our alternative school will likely not begin this school year since they will not be allowed on campus. Ridgeway will be in touch with you at some point if you are already on the waitlist. If you are interested in applying for the fall semester, let your counselor know.
SRJC
We are still waiting for instructions on what to do about dual enrollment forms for high school students. We will let you know as soon as we have the information (you can also keep updated by checking the JC website directly). In the meantime, the registration dates for courses have changed...see the message below:
