Cyber Center Connections
Blythewood High School Library Cyber Center - JANUARY 2015
Are our students college ready?
This is a critical skill that college professors assume students already know. Students should be conducting several short research assignments as well as at least one extensive research project in their classes. This is important in every course and subject area.
Call or email your library media specialists today if you need assistance with integrating research into your lessons or determining which databases best suit your needs.

Remember your Library @ Budget Survey Time!
Please consider including one or more of the following points in your responses when completing this year's budget survey.
- Due to inconsistent district funding, our media centers lack materials to support the district's initiatives.
- After 4 years without consistent district funding, media center books are worn out, damaged, or have inaccurate information due to their age.
- Without a line item budget, there is inconsistency in media center funding.
- The condition of our library books is a direct reflection of the value we place on reading. We owe it to the children to fund our media centers with a line item budget so they can have the high quality materials they deserve.
THANK YOU!
