Bulldog Bulletin

Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Q&A sessions on Thursday. This time allowed us to share recovery of learning experiences, connect with families, and share a few details of what you can expect at Grange Hall this Fall. We appreciate your continued support and encouragement.

Virtual Learning @GHES

When we begin school on September 8, our students will be following a virtual learning schedule that Math, Reading, S.S./Science integration, resource classes, and morning meeting. This will help ensure consistency and routines, and to ensure that students are comfortable when we are safe to return to in-person instruction. Teachers will be using Canvas as the learning platform. At the beginning of each day, students will have a class morning meeting to build classroom connection and a community of learners. Students will also participate in both whole and small group Math and Reading, resource, & lunch during their virtual school day. The recorded "core" instruction lessons will be posted on teachers’ Canvas pages, in case students need to view them at a later time.

Important to note:

  • Weekly Bulldog Bulletin will keep our GHES families informed of important dates & details about our plan to return in September.
  • Teacher assignments will be shared on Tuesday, September 1.
  • A reverse school supply pick-up to get individual student schedules & dry erase boards provided by GHES.
  • A virtual meet-the-teacher opportunity.
  • Canvas training opportunities for parents - coming soon.

PIZZA - It's what's for dinner!

Pizza Fundraiser for Schools

The CCCPTA and Papa John’s have teamed up to support our Chesterfield County schools and families. All you have to do is order online from ANY of the Central Virginia Papa John’s locations to raise funds for our school and families.

Supporting our school is easy as pie! Take a night off from cooking and order from Papa John’s. Enter our school’s code, {GRANGE}, in the promo code box. Our school will receive 20% of all online sales using the code. Order from August 3rd-August 24th as many times as you would like to eat pizza! Anyone can help support your school even if they don’t have a current student. Share your school code with community businesses, family members or anyone that wants to support your teachers and families.
