Learning Reviews

Thank you for attending Learning Reviews this week. It was wonderful to see everyone being able to come back into school again. We hope that you and your child found this process useful. If teachers were not able to share current assessment information with you at the meeting, this will be sent home in the next couple of weeks.

Open Classrooms - 23/3/22

Don’t forget that our Open Classrooms event will take place on Wednesday 23rd March, from 3.30pm – 5pm. This is the opportunity for you to look at your child’s work with them.

Comic Relief

Comic Relief day is next Friday, 18th March. We still have red nosed for sale for £1.50 if children would like to buy one via ParentPay. We are not doing additional fundraising activities on the day, but will do some themed activities in class.

FOSS Big Breakfast

Thank you to FOSS for providing our Big Breakfast today, and for everyone who was able to support us. It was lovely to see everyone in school, and the funds raised will be used to directly benefit our children.

Mrs Pedley

We would like to extend our congratulations to Mrs Pedley who is expecting a baby in early June. She will start maternity leave at the end of May, and we are currently recruiting a replacement. If you know anyone who would like to work in our lovely school please do make them aware of the vacancy.

This week's water-saving tip from Marcus, one of our Eco Warriors is - use a bowl in the sink when washing fruit, vegetables or dishes. You can then use the waste water to water your plants.

School Lunches

School Lunches

Please see the new Spring 2022 Lunch menu below. Next week we will be on Week 1 of lunches.


Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.


Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.


Each day there are 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

Application for Pupil Absence Form

This form should be completed by the parent/carer and returned to the school as far in advance as possible and preferably preferably with sufficient notice before the first intended day of absence.
