From Ms. Buschmann

Due to flooding, many planned activities have had to be juggled around. Given that our request for 2 forgiveness weather days due to significant flooding was approved by DESE today, I thought an update to this list would be helpful. The last day of school will now be May 18. Please contact the office with any questions. In many cases, more details can be found on the Parent Portal.

8th Grade Celebration

8th Grade Celebration is scheduled for May 12 at 6:00 in the Middle School Gymnasium. Students will need to be in the library, dressed and ready to go, by 5:45. Family and friends can be seated in the gymnasium at that time. Students will be given a class T-shirt provided by the Parent Advisory Committee. They are expected to wear that T-shirt and khaki pants. The program should last 30- 40 minutes.

Fricke Studio will be in the Band room following the ceremony if you would like to have a professional photo taken of or with your 8th grader. They will get order forms to us the first week of May.

After photos, parents are free to leave. Students will then proceed to the cafeteria where Families in Action will provide a meal and a dance will follow.
