Behavior Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Marinate....
Behavioral therapy is a treatment that helps change potentially self-destructing behaviors.
Cognitive behavioral therapy helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to tem in a more effective way.
Similarities of both would be helping you acknowledge the behaviors that exist and
the goal treatment for both would be changing behaviors.
Cognitive and behavioral therapy could work together to understand what the problems are and develop new strategies for tackling them. Patients are introduced a set of principles they can apply whenever they need to, which will last as long as they use them.
I believe behavioral therapy would be the best treatment for procrastination, because it helps you change potentially self-destructing behaviors, which would be the reasons why you procrastinate. Replacing bad habits with good ones can help with procrastination.
