Registration for the Upcoming 21-22 School Year: ALL FAMILIES!

Hello EMS Families,

New and returning student registration will be open starting July 1, 2021. Please go to the Enrollment Portal and register your student prior to the start of next year. Returning students MUST re-register. This is the best time to update any address changes, phone numbers, medical information, and/or contact information.

Please check your email during the first week of July for an email containing all the information you will need for registration. If you do not receive an email by July 15th please email ps@esd108.org to request registration information.

During this registration process, you will also be asked to submit documents such as the Health History form, the Language Survey form and the Free/Reduced Lunch application. Forms that help identify any needs your student might have, so we can get that information to the appropriate staff member or department.

If you're not sure if you've completed this process already, let us know and we'll help you figure that out. Or, if you have any questions regarding registration, feel free to contact our office at 503-630-8516 or emsinfo@estacada.k12.or.us

If for any reason you are unable to complete this due to technical issues, please contact me at cavettb@estacada.k12.or.us to set up a meeting to complete registration in mid-August. Please feel free to email me any questions you may have and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Although I won’t be at the school full time during the summer break, I will be checking emails throughout.

I hope you all enjoy the summer and I very much look forward to seeing you all next Fall! Go Tigers!

Does Your Student Take Medicine?

We want to have the most up-to-date information about your student's health and wellness.

If your student takes medicine, we need to know. Whether an inhalder, an epi-pen, medicine for ADHD, or any other item, please communicate with us so we have medical records on file and so we can administer the medicine if/when needed.

Sports Physicals for the Upcoming School Year

If your student is interested in Sports for the upcoming school year - or if you are interested in your student participating in Sports - then your student will need a Physical completed by a medical professional.

This form must be completed by a medical professional. Summer is an opportunity for you to make an appointment with your student's physician or pediatrician for their Physical. Go Tigers! Go Rangers!

Physical Form for Athletics

Bring this form to the physician and/or the pediatrician if your student will be participating in sports during the academic year. Physicals last two years.

Your Student's Social, Emotional, Mental, and Academic Health are a Priority

This school year's challenges will have an impact on your student's overall health and wellness. It is important that we - at school - are taking the time to support your student's health.

Our District's Crisis Response Team was at EMS last week to support our students both online and in person. We offered the opportunity for students to receive counseling throughout the day (virtually and in person) and partnered with Cascade Canine Crisis Response to bring therapy dogs into our building on Tuesday.

The death of staff and peers, amidst a challenging and non-traditional school, year may cause different attitudes, behaviors, and reactions from your student. Please reach out to us if you would like to talk about your student's health and ask for support.
