A Note from Mrs. Williams
Hello Schluter Families!
It's been an amazing week here at Schluter celebrating our teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! Thank you for helping us honor the hard work of our teachers as they continue to do amazing things for our students!
My only reminder this week is that we have STAAR testing next week, Tuesday - Friday for our 3rd-5th graders. We will be a closed campus to all visitors on those days, including lunch visitors.
To all of our Schluter moms, Happy Mother's Day!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Williams

Meet Dr. David Hicks, Northwest ISD’s next superintendent
The reception will last from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. For those unable to make the event, additional opportunities are planned for the future, including high school zone events in the fall and Facebook Live.
Willy Wonka Jr
Students interested in auditioning will need to record video of themselves performing their two memorized selections, which they will then upload on the musical’s website. Auditions must be uploaded by Saturday, April 30. For specific information about the rehearsal process, click here.
Enrollment for 2022-2023 begins April 11
Stay tuned for additional details! Families are encouraged to enroll their children as soon as possible, as this helps Northwest ISD schools plan for staffing and classes. The sooner families enroll their children, the fewer class-balancing changes – splitting classes or moving students from one class to another – are likely to take place once the school year starts. As a fast-growth school district, having this information early provides the best possible start to the school year!
Special Education Council Accepting Applicants
Through the SEPAC, district stakeholders can use their unique perspective and expertise to collaborate with Northwest ISD administration, educators and staff. The council will consist of 30 members, of which 15 will be district stakeholders, including students, family members, educators, staff, community members or similar individuals. These individuals will help improve the educational outcomes not just of students with disabilities, but all students.
To submit an application, click here. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 19. It can be reached via email at sepacnisd@gmail.com, or by phone at 817-215-0079. The council also operates a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SEPACNISD.
