Textbook/Materials Distribution
September 8th -11th
Leonardtown High School Students
Leonardtown High School Parents/Students,
LHS will be distributing textbooks and other course materials to students on Tuesday 9/8/20-Friday 9/11/20. Due to the current restrictions related to COVID 19, we will be distributing these items by grade level in alpha order by last name. Please read this entire letter and follow all instructions and times.
You may pick up your course materials ONLY during the time frame and on the date in which your grade level has been assigned (See schedule below). The only exception will be for families that have more than one child attending LHS. Families with more than one student can pick up all items at once.
How to find out what books you will need
- Students should make a list of the specific books that they need and bring that list with them.
What to bring with you....
- Copy of your schedule
- A bag to carry your books
- A list of books that you are going to need for the first quarter
- Any books from last year that need to be returned
- A RaiderSTONG attitude
- If you received approval for a parking permit for the 2020-21 school year, bring cash, check or credit ($45) to pay Ms. Morris in the bank. She will give you your permit.
Park in Bus Loop
Procedures for Picking up Textbooks/Materials
Students/parents entering the school must have a face covering that covers the nose and mouth. It must be worn at all times.
Upon entering the building, you will be directed to the cafeteria. Once there, books will be listed by subject.
Students will gather all of the books that they need and then report to a check-out center to have their books scanned. DO NOT LEAVE THE CAFETERIA WITHOUT SCANNING BOOKS
Students will then leave the cafeteria and exit the school using the CTE hallway doors (staff will direct you).
Students must remain 6 feet away from others while in the school.
Students should bring their class schedules with them to reference.
Students should also bring a bag to carry their books.
Students who have books that were issued to them last year should bring those with them to return.
If all of your textbooks are online and you do not need any other books or materials, you do not need to attend textbook distribution.
