Why are blueberries so good? well Because ...
...Bluberries have low sodium and fat and they also have just 80 calories per cup and they have special nutrients in them called polyphenols. Blueberries also have a lot more nutrients which people research a lot to find out what else is in this interesting berry! They also are an amazing source of vitamin c and high in magnesium. Vitamin c is essential to teens in middle school to grow into adults because it helps you grow and allows wound healing also magnesium helps stop cholesterol like cheerios XD. Blueberries also contain dietary fiber which reduces heart disease at also makes you fell full faster.
Bluberry muffins
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1-¾ cups plus 1 tablespoon flour, divided
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1⁄3 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Grease twelve 2-½-inch muffin cups
- Toss blueberries with 1 tablespoon of the flour
- Combine the remaining 1-¾ cup flour, the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt
- Set aside
- Beat egg, sour cream and milk
- Stir into flour mixture until just combined (batter will be lumpy)
- Stir in blueberries until evenly distributed
- Fill muffin cups 2⁄3 full with batter
- Bake about 20 minutes until golden
Quick notes
Yield: 12 muffins
For best results, stir unthawed blueberries lightly dusted with flour into batter

this little berry has a big timeline and it actually was eaten by indians and the blueberry has been around for 13,000 years that's a long time ago and it makes me think of the dinos eating blueberries XD!
